Parks and Recreation
Peachtree City has 90+ miles of dedicated paths for walking, jogging, biking and, yes, golf carting! (The city is well known in the area for its abundance of golf carts, and residents are often seen using them to get around town.) The 50-acre McIntosh Trail Recreation Complex is located across the street from Huddleston Elementary School and features walking trails, a picnic area, a senior center, a dog park, a skateboard ramp, and a BMX track. It also serves as a starting point for the Flat Creek Nature Preserve. Like tennis? Head over to the Peachtree City Tennis Center, home to a total of 24 courts and a fully stocked pro shop.

Along with a number of private schools in the area, Peachtree City residents are served by the public schools of the Fayette County School System, one of Georgia’s top ranking school districts. Routine health care and emergency medical treatments are provided by the Piedmont Fayette Hospital, just five miles east of Peachtree City on Highway 54. A mere 20 miles from Atlanta, Peachtree City residents have access to the busiest airport in the United States: the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
